In the June 9, 2006, podcast of Religion and Ethics Newsweekly, Robinson said, "One can't be sorry for following what one discerns to be God's will for us at any given time. . . . Sometimes God calls us to places that are controversial."tchittomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15603445266088083067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11511673.post-1152206373508325172006-07-06T13:19:00.000-04:002006-07-06T13:19:00.000-04:00I guess there are a couple of reasons why I'm foll...I guess there are a couple of reasons why I'm following Taylor's exposition so closely. First, I'm interested in the way that Western Christianity has largely taken on a definition of health and well being, a definition of the good life, as defined by pseudo-gnostic psychologies of development. Second, if this is the case, what does a properly Christian personal landscape look like. And with this part, a host of questions: what is sanctification? How does one experience the doctrine of providence, or should one experience it? How should we pray? What should we expect from God for us? Third, and most personally, I've talked briefly about my place in a family story of class ambition. Nevertheless, I wonder if I've wedded this ideal or ethic of authenticity to the soft-class consciousness of my forebears and thus produced a strong familial impulse that simply isn't there.tchittomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15603445266088083067noreply@blogger.com
